Jerry and Ashley had their first Europe trip together last September. Italy was their last stop of the trip before heading home. During their stay in Italy they went to Venice and then down to Florence before hitting Rome. While staying in Florence, they booked a Tour of Tuscany where they were with a large group traveling through the different regions. In between castle and winery visits, they stopped at an organic farm for lunch. After the wonderful 4-course meal, they decided they wanted to go take some photos together with the picturesque rolling hills of Tuscany. Jerry sent Ashley down to the area where they wanted to take photos while he asked a man on the tour with them to take their photos… little did she know that he was about to propose and was asking the man to capture the moment for them!
When Jerry came back down to where they were going to take photos, he began digging through his backpack. Ashley was wondering what he was doing since he had already handed his camera to someone to take their photo. Right when she was going to ask what he was looking for, Jerry pulled out a box, got down on one knee and proposed, asking Ashley to marry him and spend the rest of their lives together. After a moment of shock and asking “Are you serious??!”, she said YES!!
