Vanessa and Carlos had a such an amazing wedding day with lots of different venue changes which made for some pretty amazing pictures!! From St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church to The Mission Inn to The Mitten Building…the day was a whirlwind of fun, laughter and happiness!! The suite over at The Mission Inn made for some pretty epic portraits of them getting ready. We even had a pillow fight in reminiscence of Vanessa and Carlos’ engagement session pillow fight!!
Over at the church it was a beautiful ceremony with deep rooted traditions and lots of friends and family.
And all along the way we stopped to snap a few portraits…
We had never been to The Mitten Building so it was so much fun to shoot there for the first time. According their website, The Mitten Building was built in 1890 as the Haight Citrus Packing House. Next, it became Mitten Letter Factory from approx. 1940 – 1980. The building was empty for many years until it was restored by the current owners who appreciated it’s historical significance and started hosting events in 2000.
The Mitten Building had three floors for the reception. The main floor was where all the guest tables were and where dinner was served. The lower level had the bar area and the top floor was where all the dancing and festivities were.
Thank you all so much for having us share in your special day!! We have LOVED getting to know you all and can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you guys!!
