But First…{Breana + Dave, The Condor’s Nest Ranch, Pala Wedding Photographer}

Breana and Dave got married over at The Condors Nest Ranch in Pala, CA.  There are so many reasons why we loved this wedding.  The property itself is down right amazing.  If there were a playground for photographers…this would definitely be it.  There are so many different portrait opportunities that you really can’t hit up every spot in one day…which is why we had their engagement session there as well.  Breana put a ton of work into her decor and everything turned out flawlessly.

The ceremony site was super cute with a white ‘picket’ fence at the very end that would swing open when it was time for guests to enter.

They really thought of every last detail.  All of the stumps that lined the ceremony aisle were cored in the middle so the mason jars would sit flat on them and not slide off.

Now, a fun fact that we learned about Breana and Dave is that they are the ‘selfie’ masters.  Everywhere they go…they take a selfie and not just the average selfie.  We are talking the perfect distance, height and crop kind of selfies.  So, in keeping with tradition…Dave had his best man hand him his cellphone during the closing prayer and surprised Breana with their first selfie as a married couple!!

We were LOVING everything about their reception site.  It went perfectly with The Condors Nest Ranch venue.  We especially liked all of the handmade flower boxes that adorned each of the tables.

Then it was time to dance the night away.  If happiness could be a picture…we are pretty sure this would be it.

Last but not least…there was one  picture Breana really, Really, REALLY wanted to re-create.  So, when the night was coming to a close and the sky was pitch black we used one of the new vintage cars to light up the two of them.

Thank you all SO SO SO much for having us share in your special day!!  We have LOVED every second that we got to spend with you all.

When Two Become One…{Alexandra + Michael, Temecula Vintage Styled Shoot}

When Alexandra walked up to her styled engagement session…she was literally blown away.  Like most brides- she had an idea of what she wanted for her styled shoot but didn’t know exactly how it all would come together.  Even though she met with our amazing stylist- Madam Palooza– over at her 4,000 sqft studio and got to pick out the main pieces of her set…she wasn’t quite sure if they really understood what she wanted.  So, when she saw what they put together for them she was awestruck- which is exactly how we want it.  The best thing about our stylists is that they can take ideas, feelings and adjectives and turn them into tangible sets that you get to interact with and make your portraits come alive.  There’s just something really special about styled shoots…our couples…and what happens when those two things come together into one.

Thank you all so much for having us share in your special day!! We can’t wait for your wedding!!!

You make me happy…{Kristine + Rex, Grad Tradition Fallbrook Wedding Photographer}

Kristine and Rex had such a fun night celebrating their wedding with family and friends.  We first met them at their engagement session a few months back and were anxiously waiting for their wedding day.  Kristine is a quiet soul who has the ability to make you feel calm and happy just by being in the same room as her.  She has the most infections smile and is such a beautiful person inside and out.

At the same time- Rex is equally a great guy.  He is charming and funny and head over heels in love with Kristine.

One of our favorite moments at all weddings is to see how the groom reacts when he sees his bride for the first time.  To say Rex was beaming would be a total understatement.

Madam Palooza styled their wedding day shoot with us.  We love the three arches with the two chandeliers hanging from the outer ones.  They always do such an amazing job styling all of the sets for us.  We LOVE working with them and they truly added such a special touch to Kristine and Rex’s day.

Last-  but certainly not least- was the reception area where Kristine and Rex put together the most amazing array of details.  From the door knob table numbers, to the dark brown chivari chairs to the gold chargers…everything was impeccable!!

And did we mention there was a sparkler send off???  Cause there was…and it was awesome…

Thank you all so much for having us share in your special day!!  We have truly enjoyed getting to know you over the last year and are super excited to see what the future has in store for you!!

Inspiration at it’s Finest…{Kelly + Aaron, South Coast Winery Temecula Engagement Session}

One of our favorite things about our stylist- Sylvia with Madam Palooza– is that she is a visionary and comes up the most beautiful scenes for our styled shoots.  When Kelly and Aaron decided that they wanted to have a picnic over at South Coast Winery we immediately thought of a blanket on the grass, a cute picnic basket, some wine bottles, and a baguette….every picnic has a baguette, right??  But when we showed up to the  Rose Arbor and saw this gorgeous picnic complete with table and chairs…we were blown away.  It reminded us to never stop being creative and to always try to put a new spin on a old idea.  It was inspiration at it’s finest.

Look at all the beautiful blooms that are over at South Coast…not only was this the perfect spot for an engagement session but it makes for a gorgeous wedding ceremony as well!!

Kelly and Aaron, thank you all so much for having us celebrate your love with you all!!  We are SO excited for your wedding day!!

Junior High School Sweethearts…{Marissa + Raymond, Styled Murrieta Engagement Session}

What are the odds that you will meet the man that you will marry in 8th grade?? Well, for these two- even though their chances were highly unlikely- they totally did!!  They are  JUNIOR High School Sweethearts!!  Talk about a real life fairytale romance…

Our amazing friends over at Madam Palooza Emporium  created a beautiful champagne bar for these two out in the middle of nowhere.  Every Friday, Marissa and Raymond drink champagne together to end their week and start off their weekend together.  Which is a great tradition- if we do say so ourselves.  We just love all the touches of gold and the sun-kissed hills in the background.

Thank you all so much for having us share in your big day!!  You two were such a blast to hang out with and we looking forward to your wedding day!!

Jackpot…{Brittany + Lucas, Manhattan Beach Engagement Session}

We love getting to meet and hang out with new people- especially when they invite us to come out to one of their favorite hang out spots!!  We had never been to Manhattan Beach but it did not disappoint.  From the teal railings, beautiful pier and vintage looking lifeguard towers…it was a really great time.  But the best part was getting to know Brittany and Lucas.  They have such great style and personalities that it was hard to say goodbye.  We could literally shoot with them every weekend!!

After the beach, we headed into town where we just walked around and took pictures wherever inspiration struck.  Between the cute little courtyard nestled in the middle of some great restaurants and the chic little ice-cream parlor…we’d say we hit the jackpot of locations.  Where they opportunities are endless and the inspiration was plentiful.

Thank you all SO much for having us share in your big day!!  We LOVED getting to know you all and can’t wait until you say, ‘I Do’
