A Real Life Rom-Com {Johanna + Drew, Temecula Winery Engagement Session}

Johanna and Drew’s love story is straight-up out of a movie.  Like a really good movie starring Kate Hudson and some cutie that you watch with your friends and cry together.  It all started when he walked into a quaint little “mom and pop” style Italian restaurant and saw her.  Immediately- he was taken by her beauty and she was smitten with his charm.  BUT instead of asking her out- he kept coming back to the restaurant just to see her.  Finally after 8 months of flirting and some amazing Italian cuisine- he asked her on a date and, as they say, “The rest is history!”

Johanna and Drew, you two are just too cute!! We have loved getting to know you and are really looking forward to your wedding!! Thank you so much for having us share in your big day!!

It’s Official…{Jennifer + Dan, Glen Arbor Murrieta Engagement Session}

There are certain things that make us happy… starbucks, short lines in the grocery store, happy people, tall weeds, rolling hills, great light and sunflare….just to name a few.

So when we arrived at one of our favorite parks to shoot at for Jennifer and Dan’s engagement photography session- we were absolutely blown away by the luscious green grass and tree foliage that awaited for us.  Being that we are Temecula wedding photographers we don’t have very distinct seasons.  Sure our fall months are a little more golden than they are in the summer but we don’t see big changes like some other parts of the country. But here…in this moment…we can officially say, Spring HAS Sprung!!

We think our favorite part about Jennifer and Dan’s engagement session is that Jennifer totally rocked it with their outfits!!  We LOVE it when our couples wear bold, bright colors that make them pop out of their pictures instead of blend in.  They totally trusted our advice and picked colors that they would not normally wear but totally should because they were looking pretty amazing.

Thank you all SO much for having us share in your big day!! We can’t wait until your wedding!!

All in the Family {Aubree + Brian, Temecula Wedding Photographer}

**Update:  This wedding was featured on Something Turquoise!!

We first met Aubree and Brian at Aubree’s twin sister Britnee’s wedding.  They were so sweet and when we found out they were going to be getting married too…we totally wanted to be a part of their day.  Fast forward a few months…the phone rang, it was Aubree and we were beyond happy!!  Words can’t even describe how beautiful their wedding was and how thrilled we were to see them and their family once again.

Our favorite part about their day had to be the ceremony site.  It was set up around this beautiful pool overlooking the Temecula rolling hills.  Chairs were in the traditional spot in front of the bride and groom but also around the edges of the pool so they were literally surrounded by family and friends.

Our stylist Madam Palooza did a fantastic job of setting up a romantic scene for the two of them to use for their romantics.

Thank you all so much for having us share in your special day!!  We were SO excited to see you all get married and even more excited to see what the future holds for you all!!

A Wish Upon a Star…{Heather + James, Star of India Maritime Museum San Diego Engagement Session}

James and Heather met on Christian Mingle and after a couple weeks of chatting online they decided to go on their first date.  One date turned into five and they have not been without each other since.  From the very beginning, they both knew that they wanted to marry each other but James wanted to keep Heather guessing as to when we was going to pop the question.  He made a promise to her that she would have a ring on her finger by the end of the year.  Come December, James had still not proposed.  So, Heather made him a Christmas List and on the very top it read, “A RING ON MY FINGER”  Of course, James already had the ring and on a date over to the Maritime Muesum, he asked Heather to be his wife aboard the Star of India.

Thank you all so much for having us share in your special day!!  Can’t wait for your wedding over at Owl Creek!!!

Location, Location, Location… {Karen + Ryan l UCLA Engagement Session}

We really stress the importance of an engagement session to all of our couples.  We have found that couples that have an engagement session are 10 times more likely to have better wedding portraits than couples who choose not to have engagement sessions.  They are such a great way to get to know your photographer and their shooting style.  Everyone has their own tricks and techniques that they use and no two photographers are the same.  Another thing that we stress is to pick a location that is important or meaningful to you all as a couple.  The old saying, “Location, Location, Location…” is the key!!  We send every one of our couples a questionnaire to guide them through this process and for Karen and Ryan that was UCLA where Ryan went to medical school.  He is in the middle of his residency where he serves underserved communities.  It was really neat seeing UCLA through their eyes and get a glimpse into that time of their dating lives.

Thank you all so much for choosing us to share in your special day!!  We LOVED spending time with you all during your engagement session and are really looking forward to your big day!!

A Trip of a Lifetime {Amy + Brian l Pechanga Casino Wedding, Temecula CA}

Seven years ago, they had no idea that a normal work trip to Vegas would change the rest of their lives.  It was there that they met and have been together ever since.  Our favorite part about Brian and Amy’s relationship is that they are such a fun couple.  Before their engagement session with us they had rarely taken a picture together where they hadn’t been making a silly face at each other.  Not only are their personalities very similar but we could totally tell that they truly enjoy being together.  Which made us truly enjoy being around them.

Thank you so much for having us be a part of your big day!!  We have truly enjoyed getting to know you all over the last few months and are SO happy that you all found each other!!
