Timing is Everything…{Kristine and Robert, Murrieta Styled Engagement Session}

We’ve all heard that timing is everything.  Well, that could not have been more true than it was for Kristine and Robert.  Little did Kristine know when she met Robert for the first time while at work that she was meeting her future husband.  Had she known…she probably would not have politely declined his invitation for a date.  But deep down she just knew that there was something special about him…something that made her blush at thought of and get butterflies when she saw him.  So, when the timing was better- she asked if his offer was still on the table and here they are…6 years later… planning their wedding.

Kristine & Robert, Congratulations!!!  Thanks so much for having us be a part of your big day!!

The Magic Touch…{Alee + Randle, Styled Murrieta Engagement Session}

We fell in LOVE with Alee and Randle when we met them earlier this summer.  They are such a fun and loving couple.  The kind of couple that you just love to be around because their happiness makes you happy.

Randle’s proposal to Alee was SO good!!  We have to give him major props.  They had Alee’s family in from the East Coast to help celebrate her birthday since it was the first year she was in California. They planned a dinner with some friends and family. But, they also had family and friends who were bringing their kids. So, they decided to have a family friend, who is a magician,  put on a magic show for the kids.  The last trick was him putting a BIG penny under a handkerchief.  Then he went around the room asking everyone to feel under for the penny.  After Alee went it was Randle’s turn and when her put his hand under the handkerchief, he pulled out a RING!   How cute is that!!

Thank you all so much for having us share in your big day.  We are SO excited for you guys and for your future together!!

Touched by Time {Hayley + Frank, Vintage Styled Wedding Day}

Professional styling is one of our favorite services that we offer to our couples.  We love that any portrait session with us can be styled by our team even if its on the actual wedding day.  Our team of stylists love collaborating with couples to find new and fun ideas to transform any space into something that will make our couples look and feel like they stepped onto the set of a magazine.  So when we teamed up with Touch by Time Vintage Rentals for Hayley and Frank’s wedding over at Villa De Amore…we knew it was going to be a fun day.  Hayley and Frank put so much time and thought into every detail of their wedding.  We felt so lucky to be a part of celebrating them and their love for each other.

Hayley and Frank…we are SO in love with you all as a couple and with your wedding portraits.  Thanks so much for having us be a part of your special day!!!  A huge thanks goes out to the following vendors:

Venue: Villa De Amore

Pieces of You…{Lindsey + Brandon, Hockey Inspired Engagement Session}

Engagement sessions for us are kind of a big deal.  We work very hard to find out all about our couples.  We want to know what it is that they like to do together, what their hobbies are, and where they like to go to spend time together.  Then we try and incorporate those little pieces of themselves into their engagement session so that their portraits will truly reflect who they are as a couple in a special and meaningful way.

One of things that Brandon is especially passionate about is hockey.  And he is really good!!  So, when we had the opportunity to have them bring out some gear for a friendly game of street hockey, we were all over it!  But before our little game, we had to stop by one of favorite locations to get some portraits of the two of them just being- amazing.

Lindsey and Brandon, we had so much fun with you on your engagement session!!  Thank you all for having us share in your special day.  We can’t wait for your wedding and to many more pieces of the two of you!!

From a Blind Date to Marriage…{Kylene + David, Vintage Styled Engagement Session}

Our favorite thing about an engagement session is that we have the opportunity to hang out with our couples before their wedding and get to know them in a way that would not be possible on their wedding day. Our favorite question to ask is, “So, how did the two of you meet??”  because we get the most AMAZING answers and Kylene and David were no exception.  Kylene and David met on a blind some time ago and when they were telling us their story we were SHOCKED.  There are many things that happen on blind dates and finding your soulmate is usually not one of them.  But we were SO happy that it was for Kylene and David.  They are so much in love which totally came through in their photographs.

Our good friends over at Re-New’d Styling did an amazing job on their two engagement session scenes.  One location with two looks. Its crazy how just a little furniture and the other side of the building can change the entire look of an image.  What’s even more amazing is how the feathers from this session are a perfect compliment to their sofa here.

Thank you all so much for having us be a part of your wedding day!! We literally can’t wait!!

Our First, First Tease…{Brittnee & Joel, The Humphrey’s Estate in Temecula, CA}

Over the years, we have experienced many ‘firsts’ during a wedding day.  The first kiss, first look, first touch and thanks to Britnee and Joel we can add the first tease to our list of wedding day firsts.  But we will totally get to that.  Britnee and Joel got married over at The Humphrey’s Estate in Temecula, CA.  Their wedding was absolutely perfect in every single way.  Britnee’s the type of girl that lights up a room and makes you happy just because she is happy.  Her smile is contagious and if we could only describe her wedding with just one word it would be…JOY.

So, for those of you that do not know…a first tease is where a bride is able to see her groom before the ceremony to hug and kiss him but he can’t see her.  How is this possible…with a blindfold.  Yup.  Best idea ever.

Now, we have kind of a soft spot for all things burlap and lace so when we saw the reception site we were blown away.  Denise Hiatt did such an incredible job with their wedding and it is always such a pleasure working with her.  She is so organized and efficient that it makes everything go SO smoothly on the day of.

Then there was all the florals.  Oh.My.Goodness.  Carla over at Enchanting Blooms really outdid herself.  Every detail of every arrangement was stunning.  They really pulled in all the colors and were the perfect compliment to all of their decor.

Britnee and Joel, thank you SO much for having us be a part of your wedding day.  We are SO excited for the two of you and wish you all the JOY in the world.
