We have been looking forward to Heather and Daren’s wedding ever since their engagement session!! Well, probably even before that. We have been looking forward to their day since the first moment we met them at the Temecula Coffee Bean off Hwy 79 (pre-studio days). Their wedding was everything we thought it would be. Romantic, emotional, beautiful, and charming. We laughed with them. We cried with them. We celebrated them. It was an amazing day and we were lucky to have been there.
During the ceremony, we saw one of the most beautiful tributes that we have ever seen. Darren’s father had recently passed away so he carried his jacket with him down the aisle with his mom on his arm.
Then he placed the jacket on the back of his chair where is Dad would have been sitting beside his mom. Knelt down and had a moment with him. In that moment, our hearts ached for him and everyone else who ever loved Darren’s dad.
BUT the beauty in the day was that it didn’t end there because Heather walked down the aisle. The sadness that was brief yet deep was lifted by her radiant smile and happiness replaced every other emotion.
Then it was off to the reception where Darren had a little surprise for Heather…
